Leamington Peace Festival has been bringing people together since 1978.
 

What began as a grassroots community event has grown into one of the Warwickshire's longest-running free festivals, welcoming generations of visitors to celebrate music, creativity, community and peace in the heart of Leamington Spa.
 

Today, the festival remains true to those original values. It is organised entirely by volunteers and exists because local people continue to give their time, energy and passion to create something special for everyone to enjoy.
 

In 2026, the festival enters a new chapter. Alongside a team of new volunteers are people who have been part of the festival's story for decades, including one of the original founders from 1978. Together, we are proud to be continuing a tradition that has inspired and connected our community for nearly 50 years.
 

The Peace Festival is about much more than a weekend of entertainment. It is a celebration of compassion, understanding, creativity and cooperation. It's a place where people of different ages, backgrounds, beliefs and experiences can come together to listen, learn, share ideas and enjoy each other's company.
 

Everything at the festival is free to enjoy - from live music and family activities to workshops and talks. We believe that everyone should be able to take part, regardless of their circumstances.
 

The festival is funded through stallholder fees, donations and community support. These contributions help us cover essential costs such as staging, infrastructure, insurance, accessibility and health and safety, while keeping the festival free for all.
 

At its heart, the Peace Festival is built on a simple belief: that when people come together with kindness, curiosity and respect, positive things happen.
 

We believe in community. We believe in cooperation. We believe in sharing our skills, knowledge and experiences. And we believe that together, we can help create a more peaceful and connected world.
