About Leamington Peace Festival
The Leamington Peace Festival is back for 2026.
Organised by a blend of former team members and new volunteers - including one of the original founders from 1978. We’re bringing back the music, creativity, talks and togetherness that have made this festival such a special part of Leamington for decades.
At a time when connection and compassion matter more than ever, the Peace Festival remains a joyful celebration of community, understanding and hope.
Peace Talks
At the heart of the Peace Festival are conversations that encourage us to think differently about the world around us. Throughout the weekend, charities, campaign groups, community organisations and local voices will share ideas, experiences and practical ways we can all contribute to a more peaceful, fair and compassionate society. Whether you're passionate about social justice, environmental action, community wellbeing or global issues, the Peace Talks offer opportunities to listen, learn and be inspired.
Family Zone
The Family Zone is a space for imagination, creativity and fun. Families can enjoy storytelling, yoga, music, arts and crafts, dance, circus skills, drumming workshops and hands-on activities throughout the weekend. With activities designed for a range of ages, it's a welcoming space where children can play, create, learn and make happy festival memories.
Workshops
Take time to slow down, learn something new and nurture your wellbeing. Our free workshops offer opportunities to explore yoga, tai chi, singing, dance, poetry, mindfulness and more. Led by skilled local practitioners, these sessions are designed to inspire creativity, connection and personal wellbeing in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Music
From uplifting community choirs and samba bands to indie rock, folk, blues, reggae and world music, the Peace Festival celebrates the incredible talent of local and regional performers. With two free stages and over 30 musicians performing throughout the weekend, there’s something for every musical taste. Come and discover new artists, dance with friends and enjoy the soundtrack to a weekend of peace, creativity and community.
Across the weekend you’ll find live music, youth activities, workshops, peace talks, poetry, campaigning, global stories and spaces for reflection - all rooted in the belief that peace is something we actively create together, locally, in support of peace globally.
