Family Zone
Bring your family to enjoy our action-packed programme of free activities for all ages, all provided by talented local facilitators and supported by Leamington Town Council. All children’s workshops can be booked at the Children’s Area information stand during the festival. Please note that places for some activities are limited and children must be accompanied by a parent/ caregiver at all times. Timings are subject to change.

Children’s Yoga (ages 4–7) with Tasha from The Family Yoga Studio
Join us for stories, movement, breathing and relaxation woven together into a playful yoga adventure. A space to stretch, imagine, move and unwind.
10.30- 11am
Children’s Yoga (7–11) with Tasha from The Family Yoga Studio
A fun and engaging class where older children can build confidence, explore movement and discover yoga in a way that feels playful, creative and relaxed.

Storytelling with Jason Buck
A teller of tall tales, a weaver of whimsies and a fashioner of fables, Jason draws on traditional favourites and new ideas. His stories are told in the oldest and best ways- as live performances for modern audiences.

Teen Yoga workshop with Tasha from The Family Yoga Studio (ages 11-16)
No pressure to perform- just space to breathe, move your body in your own way, and relax for a moment away from the noise of everyday life.
2 - 3pm
Rhythm Time Taster Session
Come and join Rhythm Time for a fun musical session! With catchy songs, sensory activities and instruments our sessions encourage children to explore rhythm, sound and movement!
Sessions from 2- 2:25pm and from 2:35- 3pm for under-fives and their families.
3 - 4 pm
Motionhouse dance workshops
Join Motionhouse for a free workshop exploring their distinctive dance-circus style. Learn new skills and get creative in a fun and relaxed session. Open to all young people and no experience needed, just come along and give it a go!

Art and Sound bath with Hayley and Ryan
A creative introduction to the soul soothing world of sound baths- come and listen to the interesting and relaxing noises and have a go with some of the instruments. Can you make an art piece inspired by the sounds?
Suitable for ages 5-12. (2x20 min sessions)
5 - 6 pm
Solutions Not Sides teen workshop with Miriam
Feel inspired by the peace festival? Join this important workshop with the UK’s leading peace education charity to work on the vital skills for responding to conflict, injustice and polarisation through dialogue, empathy, non-violent action, human rights and democratic participation.

Kristoff’s Magic and Music Show
Chris Philpott has been performing at the festival since 2004 as Kristoff the clown.
This year he is performing magic and playing well known songs on guitar for parents and children to join in with. There are plenty of chances for children to be engaged in the show and do magic themselves! So come along and have some fun!

Come and have a go on the African drums!

Bollywood Bhangra performance & workshop with Srishi
Enjoy a performance by a local dance group and then join our workshop to try it for yourself!

Motionhouse dance performance.
An exciting performance from Motionhouse Youth- a performing youth company for talented young dancers with a passion for performance and choreography.
Through advanced training and opportunities to work alongside the professional company, members gain valuable industry experience.

Peace Festival Story Time with Keir Mitchell
Join us for a peace and courage themed story with Keir-a writer, teacher and story teller with tales that twist and turn imagination into insight.

The Willows Project - Willow star making with Hayley
Join Hayley to create your own willow stars and hearts for making wishes on.

Mirror Mosaic workshop with Kopal
Kopal will be leading a fun session making some lovely bright mirror mosaics to take home.

Create a peace poppy using recycled materials, write your wish for the world in the middle and hang it on our Peace tree.

Drop in International flag friendship bracelets.
Learn about the flags of all the different countries in the world and create friendship bracelets to symbolise international peace and cooperation.

Mixed media dove workshop with Art Lab
Come along and make a fabulous mixed media recycled peace dove with Artlab.
Sessions from 2pm-4pm, suitable for ages 4 and up.

Make a festival crown and help us create our collaborative bunting to represent all the children who visit the festival.

Baby Yoga (6 months–2 years, with caregiver)
Can babies do yoga?! Absolutely! Using music, movement and song, this playful session introduces yoga to your little one while creating a calm and connected space for you both.

SEND Yoga
A calm, welcoming and accepting space where children can explore yoga in their own way. With stories, movement, breathing and relaxation, plus extra time, flexibility and absolutely no judgement.

Circus skills workshop with Zoe from Deleata Z CIC
Deleata Z CIC are all about “All Clowning, No Frowning!” -creating accessible, inclusive experiences that spark confidence, creativity, movement, and connection for all ages.
In their sessions, they aim to break down barriers to movement and play with focus on the individual rather than a rigid syllabus.
Drop in between 1pm and 3pm to have a go at circus skills for yourself!

Flawed Mandrake - Flag making workshop
Join Flawed Mandrake Theatre for a gentle community banner and flag-making workshop celebrating love, welcome, solidarity and hope.
Inspired by the proud history of miner's banners and grassroots movements, we'll be sewing, painting, appliquéing, and stitching stories of inclusion onto fabric.
All are welcome- no craft experience needed. Just bring your values, your voice, and your creativity.
We’ll provide materials, support and a warm, welcoming space.
